Problem Note 63215: A segmentation violation occurs in a SAS/CONNECT® client session when you use the CONNECTKEEPALIVE environment variable
You encounter a segmentation violation when you send a keepalive packet to the SAS/CONNECT server session under the following conditions:
- You use the CONNECTKEEPALIVE environment variable to specify that the keepalive packet is sent.
- Buffered data is being returned at the same time that the packet is sent.
This scenario results in the following error messages:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
ERROR: The SAS task name is [TCP send].
ERROR: Segmentation Violation
